Basil Brush and Holly Willoughby are among the nominees for the children’s Baftas.
The Basil Brush Show, featuring a furry fox with an addiction to jellybeans and a catchphrase of “Boom boom”, returned in 2002 after an absence of nearly 20 years.
The show is up against Saturday morning’s Top Of The Pops Reloaded for best entertainment programme.
Holly is in competition with duo Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes for the best presenter prize.
The best film category pits The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe against Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and Wallace And Gromit: The Curse Of The Were Rabbit.
Other nominees include cult cartoon Spongebob Squarepants (best international programme) and Postman Pat (best pre-school animation).
Children’s presenter Reggie Yates will host this year’s ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane on November 26.
