Holly Willoughby does not know who to trust after confidential salary information for her new Netflix show was leaked, it’s been claimed.

The former This Morning presenter, 43, is reported be pocketing £1,000,000 for presenting a survival reality series with Bear Grylls.

But Netflix was said to be ‘really upset’ her pay cheque was made public because they are ‘really strict’ about confidentiality.

Now, Holly is said to feel ‘very betrayed’ her wages were made public because she does ‘not want to burn her bridges so early.’

The series, which has the working title of Bear Hunt, is a huge role for the presenter who took a break from the spotlight after quitting This Morning.

A source told Heat: ‘Just as Holly thought everything was getting back on track, she feels very betrayed again over the stories about Netflix being upset over her wages being made public.

‘This is such a big deal for her and she wants to do more work for them, so the last thing she would want to do is burn her bridges so early.

‘It’s embarrassing and upsetting that a story like this has come out when she wants to be trusted and seen as a big asset to Netflix. She’s not one to discuss money and is always professional.’

A source told The Mirror: ‘Netflix is really strict about leaks and anything ahead of schedule.

‘They had a meeting and brought up Holly’s new series, and said they were really upset about how it was leaked and there were so many varying reports about how much she had been paid to do the show. It just isn’t its style.

‘Netflix recruits credible talent – and to have potential earnings in the public domain wasn’t what it had expected.’

The Netflix show will see Holly spend a chunk of time filming in Central America which has reportedly left her ‘torn’ over spending time with her children.

The TV star is married to producer Dan Baldwin and shares three children with him: son Harry, 14, daughter Belle, 12, and eight-year-old son Chester.

‘Holly will naturally miss her children and husband when she is away – she had lived in a lovely bubble with them while she took time off work. So it will be hard being away,’ a source said.

The insider continued to OK!: ‘Like so many mums, she feels that mum guilt as she tries to juggle family life with her TV career.

‘It’s something she’s spoken about openly in the past – and she also wants to show other mums that she is just the same, she feels it too.

‘But she knows that, ultimately, she is setting a good example to her little ones by being a working mum.’

As her new Netflix show was revealed, it has also been said that the Wylde Moon founder was eyed-up by the BBC, while reports have emerged that ITV are offering her a huge deal to remain at the channel.

Metro.co.uk has contacted Holly’s reps and Netflix for comment.
