
The new stars of ITV1’s Dancing On Ice were revealed at London’s Natural History Museum â with most of them limping and groaning back into their skates.
But it is not Christmas excess that is the cause of the celebrities’ woes.
Weeks of secret rehearsals have taken their toll on the 12, who include pop singers Gareth Gates and Samantha Mumba, TV presenter Sarah Greene, ex-Hear’Say singer Suzanne Shaw, tennis ace Greg Rusedski and former Page Three model Linda Lusardi.
Also competing are former Olympic medallist Steve Backley, cleaning guru Aggie Mackenzie, GMTV’s Michael Underwood, Hollyoaks actor Chris Fountain and TV presenters Natalie Pinkham and Tim Vincent. Most are nursing some kind of injury with Lusardi, 49, taking the worst of it.
She missed six weeks of rehearsals after breaking a bone in one of her feet.
