Holly Willoughby will soon be waving goodbye to her This Morning duties as she jumps ship to helm I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Phillip Schofield’s co-host was confirmed as Ant McPartlin’s temporary replacement on the ITV1 jungle show in August.
Ant has stood down from all of his TV commitments this year after being caught drink driving and then checking himself into rehab to battle addiction issues.
Rochelle Humes has now been confirmed as Holly’s replacement on the morning show while she’s in Australia, so she’ll be keeping Phillip company.
But when does Holly leave This Morning?
ITV is yet to confirm a start date for the 18th series of I’m A Celebrity.
However, going on past series’ launch dates, the jungle fun is likely to kick off on Sunday 18 November.
The show typically starts on the third Sunday of November, but some years has begun on the second Sunday, meaning 11 November is also a contender.
Either way, Holly will need to jet to Australia in plenty of time to prepare for her hosting duties and settle into life Down Under with her family, who are joining her out there.
It means she could be leaving This Morning as early as 1 November, if not 8 November – so she could have just two or three weeks left on the sofa.
Speaking about joining alongside Schofield, Rochelle said: ‘I’m excited I can tell people now. There was rumours at the weekend and I didn’t reply to any of my friends.’
While she’s hosted the show before, Rochelle has never co-hosted with Phillip Schofield before.
‘Never with the legend,’ Humes said. ‘I’ll make sure I don’t do something naughty and there’ll be something to come back to.’
Schofield added: ‘I’m really looking forward to it, it’ll be fabulous. We’ll have a great time.’
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 at 10.30pm.
