Holly Willoughby mocked her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! haters on tonight’s episode.
The 37-year-old presenter, who’s hosting the current series alongside Declan Donnelly as Ant McCPartlin takes a break from television, divided viewers as she made her Down Under debut yesterday.
However, showing she’s not fazed by any of the her critics, Holly kick started this evening’s edition with a rundown of what’s in store played to the This Morning intro music like a boss.
‘What’s in store for us this morning, Holly?’
‘Thank you, Dec,’ Holy replied, ‘Coming up in around 15 minutes, Emily Atack is here to answer the question, “How can I conquer my fear of snakes?” in today’s Bushtucker Trial.’
Dec continued: ‘After that, there’s news from our royal correspondent Harry Redknapp. He’s been chatting to several members of the Windsor family. I’m looking forward to that.’
Holly finished: ‘And I’ll be meeting a man who saves hundreds of pounds a year by wearing children’s clothes.’
‘Stop, stop, stop. That was a private conversation,’ joked Dec.
Viewers loved the little dig and raced to Twitter in hysterics to comment, with one person writing: ‘Last night they made reference to The Chase and tonight it’s This Morning 😂😂 @ITV must be screaming with laughter.’
‘The this morning tune made me laugh omg,’ added another.
But a third begged: ‘No. No. No. Please don’t do this stupid This Morning thing every day.’
Last night’s launch episode of I’m A Celebrity saw the return of the show’s tongue in cheek gags, with Holly poking fun at Dec’s height, saying: ‘He’s loads of fun and only 5ft 1.’
The joke was quickly picked up by viewers who went and changed the presenter’s Wikipedia page, writing: ‘Declan Joseph Oliver Donnelly OBE (born 25 September 1975) is an English television presenter, producer and actor who is loads of fun and only 5’1.’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV.
