
Slick hairstyles, fast cars, teenage hormones and leather, it can only mean one thing – Grease Is The Word is about to hit our screens.
Viewers will see thousands of people audition for the chance to play Sandy and Danny in a new West End production of Grease, which opens in July.
David Gest, who appeared on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity last year, will join theatre producer David Ian on the judging panel, which will also include American choreographer Brian Friedman and West End star Sinitta.
Wannabes who get through the initial auditions will be sent to a three-day ‘boot camp’. Just eight couples will then be chosen for the live TV show and the public will get to vote on should get kicked off each week.
