Zoe Ball and Holly Willoughby will be fronting Grease Is The WordPut everything else on hold – because summer nights will be all about Grease from next week.
The smash hit musical is returning to the stage in August and TV bosses are launching a massive search to find a new Danny and Sandy to take the lead.
ITV’s Grease Is The Word will see US producer David Gest, stage producer David Ian, choreographer Brian Friedman and West End star Sinitta whittling down thousands of wannabes to end up with eight pairs of performers. Zoe Ball will host the show, while Holly Willoughby will front another programme on ITV2.
The Danny and Sandy hopefuls will perform live each week, with viewers deciding who to boot off.
The winning pair will star in the musical, which opens at The Piccadilly Theatre on August 8.
